The sculpture, which is constructed as a TOTEM and shows figurative and abstract human bodies intertwined, symbolizes for me the tension and complexity of human sexuality. It illustrates a metamorphosis of strength, dominance and aggression on the one hand, and weakness and subordination on the other, which are linked in a dystopian way.

To the exhibition "Corona Feeling"

Inspired by René Magritte "The Lovers".

"The lovers" press their faces together, the figures almost seem to kiss. But the romantic gesture is made incomplete by the cloth that pulls on the faces. It thus creates a mysterious element through which intimacy is alienated.

Just as distancing from the other person has been proclaimed since the corona era, they are images that aim to expose the dark side of one's own mind.

But they pray for money, material goods and recognition.

In the modern society people become “wannabegods”

and it has nothing to do with spirituality.

"People breed envy" is engraved on the breast of the golden sculpture.

God will say: I don`t need your praying.

Stop praying.
